GO-TV Unveils Its First Website at www.GreaterOssiningTV.org

Ossining, NY  (January 15, 2004) Greater Ossining TV (GO-TV) today unveiled its first-ever Website at www.greaterossiningtv.org.   The Website, designed by GO-TV volunteer Keech LeClair, is an interactive site with information on everything from program schedules to fundraising.

For those new to GO-TV, the site offers a studio tour, a program schedule, and information on eligibility for using GO-TV. In addition, it offers direct links to the Studio Manager and Board of Directors for comments, public service announcement submissions, and questions on how to get involved.  Also included on the site are a number of downloadable forms for volunteering, requesting equipment, and talent releases.

“The GO-TV Board of Directors is very excited to be able to offer this new Website to the residents of Ossining, and we are so grateful to Keech LeClair for all of the countless hours he has spent developing this site,” said Mary Prenon, Chairman of the Board of Directors.  “We hope that this will encourage more people to get involved in their local public access station as volunteers, show producers and fundraisers.”

The new Website also offers a detailed operating plan for GO-TV over the next two years. Additionally, it provides direct links to the Ossining Town and Village for sending letters of support to avail GO-TV of the Cablevision Franchise Fees, which are currently being funneled into the municipalities’ General Funds.

Just a few portions of the Website remain under construction, and will be updated shortly.

GO-TV broadcasts public access on Channel 18, and government access on Channel 78.  Now in its 9th year of operation, GO-TV serves the Village and Town of Ossining, Briarcliff Manor, Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, and parts of Chappaqua, Pleasantville, Valhalla and Mount Pleasant.
